About Signal Automotive

Keep the vehicle and the evidence together.

Signal brings vehicle information, observations and records into a clearer working picture for drivers and the motor trade.

What Signal is for

A driver may start with a noise, a warning light, a used-car advert or a folder of incomplete invoices. Signal helps separate what is known from what needs checking. Its public guides explain a practical next step; its tools help organise symptoms, vehicle information, costs and records.

Signal Trade applies the same vehicle-record approach to appraisals, customers, stock and preparation. Those private working records are separate from public seller adverts and editorial pages.

What you can use without an account

The practical article collection, model inspection guides, noise guidance, vehicle library and public reference tools are available to explore. The guides include source notes and blank worksheets. An account is used for private saved work and the relevant Trade journeys.

The evidence boundary

A symptom review offers possible explanations and next checks, not a confirmed failed part. A historical price model is planning guidance, not a current licensed valuation or an offer to buy. An MOT result records a test outcome, not every part of the vehicle’s condition. Each tool and guide should make its own source and coverage limits clear.

When Signal uses an external source, the source and its role matter. Government vehicle records, manufacturer instructions, licensed services, open reference data and a user’s own observations are not interchangeable forms of evidence.

Who publishes the site

Signal Automotive is the publisher and point of responsibility for this site. The contact address is info@signalautomotive.uk. The organisational byline does not claim an independent mechanical inspection or professional accreditation. Our editorial method explains AI assistance, checking, examples and corrections.

Free core and separate services

Signal’s core driver and Trade tools are free to use. External provider services are separate and should show their own provider, terms and cost before a user chooses them. Public seller adverts are a separate service from display advertising.

Google AdSense is prepared only for selected public editorial pages, subject to Google’s approval, available ads and the relevant privacy choices. Advertising is excluded from private Trade work, vehicle records and diagnostic or valuation decisions. Read the advertising standards.

Get help or correct something

Contact Signal for product help, feedback or an evidence-backed correction. Include the page and what happened, with private details removed. Published materials are guidance for understanding and preparation; professional assessment remains necessary where condition or safety needs to be established.

How pricing information helps Signal

Signal Automotive is an independent start-up building its own vehicle pricing system. Vehicle details and prices you choose to provide for valuation or optional pricing research help us develop and improve Signal’s estimates.

Asking prices and seller-reported outcomes remain labelled by their source; they are not treated as verified sales unless supported by suitable evidence. Optional research choices remain separate, and this acknowledgement does not sign you up to marketing.

Read the privacy notice for details about the information Signal uses and your choices.
